‘One of the nicest holiday cottages in Cornwall ’

Those are not our words, but a simple extract from our visitors book, made by a guest who had just enjoyed two weeks with us in high summer last year.

Dating back to the 19th century, Flora Court is beautifully restored town cottage, set on the edge of Wadebridge. It has been lovingly re-furbished to very high standards and now provides a holiday home of great character with many unique features.

Only a four minute walk from the town centre, it retains a peace and tranquility of its own. There is an entrance hall,  three bedrooms (two doubles and a twin) , a main bathroom and further shower room, lounge and galley kitchen. The latter is fully equipped with modern appliances, including dishwasher.

Whilst the cottage will easily sleep six, the best configuration is for two couples or small families. This makes for comfortable use of the bathroom and shower room layout, thus ensuring privacy within your group. 

Wadebridge has re-invented itself within the last generation and now has a ‘market town’ atmosphere that contributes greatly to its growing  popularity. Pavement cafes now exist where formerly there was the through road, restaurants have replaced storage warehouses, and chic shops will be seen in place of bare car parks.  All the North coast beaches are easily accessible, as are some superb links golf courses. Those looking for a beach holiday, fishing, walking or just exploring the lovely coastline, need look no further.

Flora Court is ideally placed for access to the Camel Trail and indeed many guests feel that they can leave the car on the driveway for the whole of their stay, such is the ease of access to the towns facilities. Bike hire, pubs, restaurants, shops, banks and Post Office are all just a short stroll away.

We have a few restrictions: the cottage is strictly non-smoking both inside and out  – please don’t come if you are a smoker. Similarly, we don’t accept young children as there are too many antiques and nice furnishings around. Apart from that, the only house rule is that you have a great holiday!

High season:     850 per week         June-August

Low season:     650 per week         April-June  and September-November

Winter:            550 per week         December-March
